Good Morning Friends,
This is just a quick note to those who have gotten used to the cadence of a Monday morning study post in The Beloved Disciple series. Without going into too many details, our extended family has experienced some upheavals of a medical nature the last week and a half or so. As a result we will soon be welcoming temporarily, a member of the family into our home for round the clock care.
This has resulted in the necessity for a great deal of preparatory work in the last 4-5 days. It will undoubtedly result in some large scale adjustments in life for our family in the coming weeks. We are blessed to have a goodly number of family members to help along with visiting nurses.
As a result, and taking a lesson from Matthew 6:30-32, I am going to take a brief break from posting for the next 2 maybe 3 weeks. This will give the mental and physical time to be with my family through this changing season, and then to devote the required time to study and consideration of our study upon return.
Thanks for your understanding. I look forward to engaging with you all again soon.
Dave
“The apostles returned to Jesus and told him all that they had done and taught. And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat. And they went away in the boat to a desolate place by themselves.” Mark 6:30-32
